Please Tell Me WHY!

I am just one of those people who would like to know the answer to this one Question. Why.

You read this and go, why to what. I'll tell you what.

Why is it that we "need" to have certain percentage of women/ethnics/disabled people for every little group or gathering that we have? The cabinet, board rooms, why do have have to have everyone represented?

As far as I can find the only reason is because they are not represented now, or apparently they are not, but I think that is untrue.

e·qual·i·ty   [ih-kwol-i-tee]
noun, plural -ties.
1. the state or quality of being equal;  correspondence inquantity, degree, value, rank, or ability.
2. uniform character, as of motion or surface.
3. Mathematic

Right equality is something that we all want, we all want to be treated the same, in all honesty, and we should all know this, this will never happen as we give/vote people into have power over us and they will abuse that power and treat us like dirt, why, because they can.

Now when we start naming groups of people, we are being specific. When you mention a specific group of people you are discriminating against all the others of whom you did not mention, and by definition you are not helping the true goal of equality.

spe·cif·ic   [spi-sif-ik]
adjective
1. having a special application, bearing, or reference; specifying, explicit, or definite: to state one's specific purpose.
2. specified, precise, or particular: a specific sum of money.
3. peculiar or proper to somebody or something, as qualities, characteristics, effects, etc.: His specific problems got him into trouble.
4. of a special or particular kind.
5. concerned specifically with the item or subject named (used in combination): The Secretary addressed himself to crop-specific problems.

dis·crim·i·nat·ing   [dih-skrim-uh-ney-ting]
adjective
1. differentiating; analytical.
2. noting differences or distinctions with nicety; discerning; perspicacious: a discriminating interpreter of events.
3. having excellent taste or judgment: a discriminating interior designer.
4. differential, as a tariff.

So the minute you mention gays, you are discriminating against those who are not gay, the minute you say women, are are discriminating against those who are not women.

We have equality laws which discriminate against everyone.

In this world all things can not be equal, the sooner we learn that, and accept that some people are better than others, some people in the past wrote things that related to "man" and not "people" the sooner we accept that, the sooner we will really be able to move forward.

We DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE WOMEN/GAYS/ETHNICS any other specific in control or represented, if they wish to be represented then they can be, but forcing it to happen will only mean you are no longer representing someone else.

11 Plus

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7773974.stm

The BBC posted this, it took me 5 minutes and I got 75%, lets see if you can figure out how many I got right.

If that is what passes for a test, it is no wonder the cops we have are stupid.

Chris Huhne - Case Dropped

Chris Huhne gets away with it, is what the papers should say, but what actually is happening is the same old dirty dealing that we should expect from our political class (Hey they call us an underclass so lets call them the political class)

The nearest I can figure it is this, someone in the CPS has been looking to move into Politics, its the money you see, and at a stretch if you want to get into politics you need a political person to give you the "leg up" or in some cases the leg over.

Now, it would not be a good move to be seen putting a politician up on charges, good case or not, your making an enemy and that is not what this person wants, so the goal is to quietly let it all slide until the case can be dropped and Chris Huhne's support can be won, with a little help from my friends as the song goes.

Now being an outsider I still have problems with the fact that corruption here causes such a big problem, it happens everyone knows it happens, so what is the big deal.

It put it simply, you are paying someone to do something for you, that is work, not corruption. I need planning permission, I pay the planning guy, he gives me permission, simple.

Now you might say that the planning guy is being paid to do his job, so being paid by me is wrong, but no he isn't. As far as I can tell, most Englishmen believe their salary is just to make them turn up to work, not actually do anything (the English are lazy lets face it, they only do long hours because of the overtime, or because they are so crap at what they do they need 10 hours to do what is an 8 hour job, which leads us to why unions are so powerful here)

So, that planning guy is just scraping by, doing as little as possible, so when gets some work, planning permission is put to him, they means he might have to work a little more and this he resents, so he will make sure it will take as long as possible, why should he try and deal with this, why should he progress this? I mean really. That would be his attitude, because you are, in his eyes, forcing him to do something, and this no one likes.

Now, you go to that same planning guy, pass him the planning application, and suggest to him that he might make a few 'extra quid' and you will have never seen someone work harder.

The same goes for politicians, your paying them fine, thank you, but to expect them to work without any extras, what are you nuts?

Lets face it, if you want your doctor to sign your passport, and he gave birth to you, it is still going to cost you £20, why? Because, it is work, and pen to paper for a doctor, for someone he knows and has treated for years, well, I mean really, you can not just go out and sign things, so it costs you.

The English are Lazy, Fact.

Chris Huhne Will get away with it, this is another fact.

Remember this is a whisper, so don't go shouting it aloud!

Police called 'barely literate'

I loved this. Apparently we have more Graduates in the police force than ever before, now if you step back a little bit, and think about it...

We are forcing (We have made people believe that it is the best thing for them) more and more people to go to University and thus we will have more people coming out of University, and thus we will have more Graduates.

The above stands to reason doesn't it? The more meat you put in the grinder the more mince meat you get out, anyone can understand that.

So, how many people are studying Law, or Police related Graduate courses, not many I wager.

The police that I have met, in general have been pretty good, not outstanding by any stretch, but good enough to do their job, they talk to the public well etc, but in each case it was not about a crime, I would be willing to bet that had it been about a crime that first of all I would never have met them, and second upon appearing, they would be desperate to get away.

http://futurehistoryofgreatbritain.blogspot.com/2011/08/sadly-politicians-will-never-change.html

We have been dumbing down tests and exams for years. I see people of a daily basis who can not calculate change without what it tells them on a screen. I always know what change to expect, and the number of coins, what the will or should be etc, watch your local supermarket, if you give them change, so it makes things rounded, they don't understand how it works, it is a laugh to do it, they don't understand you want 1 pound back, a two pound coin back, they just can not work it out.

The police are, over trained, first in health and safety, and second in paper work.

I think we should stop calling it a service, and start calling it a force again.

The End of the European Project

Yes folks it is here, The End of the European Project.

Over the next few months or so those people that run Europe will be digging themselves deeper and deeper into trouble, and taking those poor saps who voted them in with them, and then the elections will come in France and Germany and the people will speak and the European Project will die.

Thank god really. A United States of Europe would just be the end of it, and good old George would be laughing his head off, he was right if just a few years off. As things stand now Europe re-writes history to teach what it wants to, it changes things as and when.

I figure one thing, when your biggest argument in changing to a single currency is, it makes it easier to travel, no exchange rates, then you have a serious problem because math really isn't that difficult.

MPs Angry...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-14912966 - Gee poor babies.

Simple facts, there are 650+ MPs, we are a country that so small most others can swallow us whole. We have 65 Million people.

The united states has 300 million people, and a third of the number of people voted in to manage them, and believe me, if you want to see your representative you can and pretty quickly as well. Here, well lets face it, I have never seen my MP, and I know some places in which their MP as NEVER held a surgery, they just can not be bothered, but hey the English are in general a very lazy people.

Our second house, the Lords, is second in size only to that of China. Yes folks thats right, China, a Billion people, and next is little old us, 65 Million people and over 700 people ready to suck on the Tit that is the British public.

Again, the British public is lazy, these fact alone are worth a revolt, a protest, something..
